These lancets are for use with the Accu-Chek Multiclix lancing device. This is one of the best lancing devices out there (note that while you can purchase the Multiclix lancing device separately at your local pharmacy, it may actually be cheaper to purchase a complete Accu-Chek meter kit that includes the device).

I was astonished at the difference in price between the local pharmacy and here on amazon! I decided to start checking my glucose periodically because I am pre-diabetic and have a family history. I did a lot of research and chose this brand of meter and lancet because they seemed to be the best and most accurate. There is very little to no pain when using these lancets and I like the fact that I can have these around without fear of anyone getting hurt--since the lancet is always enclosed except when you are using it. It is very unlikely a child would be able to hurt themselves because you have to do two differnt actions to get the lancet to fire. I also keep the setting fairly shallow so I have to press down on my finger to get it to work. The tiny cut heals up almost instantly after I use my meter. Very happy with price and product.
