If you are a diabetic and have to prick your finger (or arm) several times a day, this was invented for you. I really love this clever little gadget. First off, it is a good standard, adjustable auto lancet which works just great and is easy to use. BUT there is more! Lots more! Tired of chasing down those lancets, loading them in one by one and the trying to find a safe way to dispose of them? Forget about it! This device uses a completely self-contained little drum that holds 6 lancets. You load once and then you have 6 shots without reloading! It's a six-shooter! The needles are completely enclosed inside the drum and safe. After use, you'd need a hammer and a very determined 5 year old just to get anywhere near exposing the lancets. Very safe, very secure, very convenient! Very clever design!

The quickest device I have used in 11 years of changing lancet devices during that time. This has a quick puncture and rapid withdrawal. I continue to "try" other devices and ultimately return to this SoftClix Plus.

Unique lancing mechanism provides a truly painless prick. Works very well with alternate site testing. Have had other devices over the years, this is the only one I would recommend. I would highly recommend this one for children.

I ordered two lancet devices but received two Softclix Plus devices. The Plus is a cheap imitation and 1) not what I ordered and 2) not what was advertised.
